Hi there! Audrey here! Today I have a card to share with you that uses one of my favorite older Lawn Fawn stamp sets along with the new release. That's one of the things I love most about Lawn Fawn... all of their stamp sets coordinate together perfectly, and you can mix and match them and really stretch your stamps!
I started off by diecutting a piece of white card stock with the largest stitched rectangle in the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangles die set. Using Tumbled Glass distress ink, I stamped a snowy background using the Snowy Backdrops stamps set and some larger snowflakes from the Making Frosty Friends stamp set. I cut two hills from white cardstock using the Stitched Hillside dies. Then to create my scene, I stamped colored and fussy cut the snowman from Making Frosty Friends and the adorable little penguins and their snowballs from the Toboggan Together stamp set. I used some of the new Let's Polka in the Dark 6x6 paper pad to paper piece the snowman's scarf, and I used the tiny hat from the Critters in the Arctic to dress up the penguins. They fit perfectly! I put my scene together adhering some pieces flat and popping some up with foam tape for extra dimension, and then adhered my panel to a red card base. I finished things off with a twine bow using Lawn Fawn's Peppermint Lawn Trimmings. I also added some clear iridescent sequins that I sorted out of the Lucy's Cards Lily White sequin mix. They are hard to see in the photograph, but add such a fun finishing touch in person!
I hope you like my card! If you'd like to check out the newest Lawn Fawn collection or stock up on some old favorites, you can find them all in the store right here!
Thanks so much for stopping by! :)
