Hello!
Lindsay with you today, for my very first post for Butterfly Reflections, Ink! I am so excited to be able to share projects with you, using products we all love, every week on the blog!
Today, I have a bright and fun card for you, using some of my favorite My Favorite Things stamps, and dies.
Using a piece of watercolor paper, I took one of the bottle dies from the Cool Cup die set, and ran it through my die cut machine. I took the bottle pieces, and colored them in using the Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors. These are so dreamy, thick, and pigmented! When they were dry, I stamped You're the Coolest, from the coordinating Soda Pop set, in black, within the open area.
Using the negative piece, I placed a thin piece of paper onto the backside with plenty of adhesive, and reinserted the bottle die cuts into it. I layered it onto black card stock, and then onto my hot pink card base. To finish it off, I white heat embossed the sentiment onto black card stock, and adhered a few black pearls.
I hope you were inspired to try some new techniques today! Thank you for stopping by!
