Hello there and welcome to Thursday at the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog. I'm Janette and not only do I get to bring you another sparkly treat today, but I get to announce the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens winner, yay!
Without further ado, da da da dah.... The Rafflecopter winner chosen through random.org over at janettekausen.com is Brandi R.! Congratulations to you! Your entry was verified and you have been emailed in order to claim your prize. Congratulations again!
Meet Uptown Perry and her Laptop by Stamping Bella. Isn't she the cutest?
To begin, stamp Perry and the sentiment on heavyweight cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black ink. Stamped another Perry on Inkadinkado Masking Paper and then fussy cut it down with an 1/8 inch margin. Then align the mask over the cardstock image using a bright light behind them.
With Perry's mask still in place, and a Post-It Note or two over the newly stamped wood floor. The My Favorite Things Stitched Chevron Background stamp serves as a perfect wallpaper when stamped in a muted ink color like Momento London Fog.
Remove the masks and get your coloring on! All stamping inks used on this card are Copic friendly, as that was my medium of choice. Copic markers are alcohol based and can make some inks bleed a bit, so you'll want to be cautious of that. Copic colors for this card are: Hair E34, E37, E59 / Skin E51, E53, E35, R20 and a touch of 0 Colorless Blender over the glasses / Blouse Y13, Y17, T0, T1 / Denim B34, B37, B39 / Computer T2, T3, T4 / Pear YG01, YG17, YG67 / Chair R24, R29, R39 / Wallpaper & Outline of Chair T1, T3 / Floor E34.
The Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen provides ample glitz and glam to the cushy chair. Pop the primary panel onto a secondary framing panel in black, also coated with Clear Sparkle. Lastly, adhere the finished panel onto a card base. I prefer to use the Plus line adhesives. They provide super stickability (is that a word?) and do not string off like some other brands do.
As always, thank you for stopping by the BRI blog. Feel free to click through any links provided in this post to take you to the mentioned item in the BRI shop or click here to go straight to the shop.
Again, congratulations to Brandi R. on winning the 2 sparkle markers! Have a fantastic day all!

Next, use the Winnie & Walter Multigrain stamp for the wood floors in Versafine Vintage Sepia ink. The stamp is not wide enough for the whole panel so, if you look closely, you can see a inconspicuous seam beneath Perry's feet.
