Bold, Ink Blended Happy Birthday

I am so glad you stopped by today! I have a bold ink blended card to share with you today, using some stamps, and basics from the store.

Cards like this are a great way to create a simple, no pressure design, with big impact. So, I started by taking the Whimsical Greetings stamp set by My Favorite Things, and stamping the triangle stamp randomly over a panel of white card stock, using Onyx Black Versafine ink. I then heat set it using Clear embossing powder. I then began blending in a few Ranger Distress Inks, in Wilted Violet, Festive Berries, and Fossilized Amber.

I took one of the sentiments from the set, and white heat embossed it onto black card stock. I trimmed it down, and added it to the panel. I adhered the panel to a white card base using a piece of fun foam. To finish it, I adhered a few black sequins.

I hope you were inspired! Have a bright, and happy Wednesday, crafty friends!
