Owl Always Look Up to You

Hello friends! Welcome to the Thursday edition of the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog. You are "this" close to the weekend, and even Spring Break for some of you. Hang in there, you got this!

I am Janette and today I'm featuring Uchi's Designs.

Supplies:
Copic Markers (I used E31, E33, E35, E37, Y17, YR09)
Color Burst Watercolor Powder (I used Indigo & Ultramarine Blue)
Wood Print Paper (I used a stash wood veneer)
White Heavyweight Cardstock

(Optional: Target Dollar Spot Googly Eyes)

Paper Dimensions:
6" x 6" Watercolor Paper (eventually trimmed to 4" x 5 1/4")
4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Black Cardstock
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Heavyweight Cardstock (scored and folded)

Directions:
1. Mist 6" x 6" watercolor paper with water and sprinkle with Color Burst powder.  Let color develop, set aside to dry.
2. Die cut branch from wood paper and prune excess.
3. Stamp owls on heavyweight cardstock. I use Misti tool and stamp 2x for dark, crisp, clear image.
4. Copic color owls.
5. Trim dry watercolor paper to 4" x 5 1/4".
6. Stamp sentiment on watercolor paper, aligning with Misti tool.
6. Sparkle pen around border of black cardstock and baby owl belly.

Assembly:
1. Adhere watercolor paper to black cardstock and to card base with Plus adhesive.
2. Adhere branch, owls, google eyes and sequins to watercolor paper with Multi Medium Matte and/or Plus adhesive.

And that is it for this adorable card. I love owls and look forward to many more adventures with this sweet stamp set.  Be sure to check out all the stamp sets and coordinating dies by Uchi's Designs.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

[Please remember that Vanessa has the shop on lockdown from today the 17th, through Sunday the 20th. She has much of the inventory with her at a crop she is vending and in order to provide you the best service possible, the site must be down temporarily. Our husbands will be thrilled that our wallets may rest a few days! Thank you for your understanding!]
