Happy Saturday!! Danielle here, long time no see. lol. I am popping in here at the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog with a fun yummy summer card!
Just in case you didn't get the memo, pineapples are "Trending" this summer. They were all over the CHA show back in January. I fell in love with this Paper Layering Pineapple from Hero Arts.
Once, I got it in my hands I realized, what do I do with it. It doesn't cut out the pineapple, just all the details to raise for dimension.
I stared, and stared at the dang thing, then I knew what to do. I remember how I love the look of the watercolors on kraft paper. So, I went to playing. Don't add to much water, otherwise the paper will pill and wrinkle, since it's not made to accept all that water. I added just enough to get the color down.
Then it needed a sentiment, and I found a few from the My Favorite Things, Polynesian Paradise set work great! Finished off the card with some Little B Washi Tape and enamel dots.
To get all the supplies I used head on over to the Butterfly Reflections Ink store here.
Thanks for stopping by!
