Hello again! Kimberly from Kimplete Kreativity here, and I'm excited to share my SUPER-DUPER colorful card with you today!
SUPPLIES:
Inktense Colored Pencils
White Cardstock
Colored Cardstock
I die cut a rainbow of stitched rectangles by stacking one inside of the other to create frames Once they were all cut, I stacked them together upside down and taped them together so as to keep them as one piece while I cut them into a v-shape. (I don't own the stitched squares - if you do, this would be a lot easier, lol!) I adhered the colored frames to the top and bottom of my cardbase, cutting off the overhang. This left a nice white space for my tiny rainbow and the sentiment.
Isn't that rainbow just the cutest!?! I stamped it right in the center of my cardbase and then masked it and stamped the sunshine. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark, overlapping the sun just a bit, and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored the rainbow with Inktense colored pencils and and then gave the sunshine, rainbow and clouds a heavy coat with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen. The sparkle is amazing!
I hope you've enjoyed my card today! There are some seriously cute images in this stamp set from Sugar Pea Designs - I think you planner girls would love this one too.....a mini thermometer?!? Tiny raindrops? Hello! Too cute!
See you again next week, friends......same time, same place, okay?!
How super FUN!!
