Last week sometime I got an amazing package from Butterfly Reflections Ink. So I suppose its a proper timing to share in my cards with you all here...
Here is my first card, I played with this super fun "Hello Chum" stamp set from Avery Elle...
I started off by creating my background first, I took Tim Holtz water color cardstock and used my Gansai Tambi watercolors to color in. Once everything was dry I splattered some diluted white and blue watercolor inks and also stamped the water waves, bubbles and small fishies using black licorice ink...
The image itself is stamped onto Crafters Companion Ultra smooth white cardstock using Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with my Copics, I also added some white dots on shark using white gelly roll pen. I added a strip of design paper to one side and then adhered the watercolored panel directly to a white card base.
Sentiment is from the same set; it is stamped on a strip red cardstock using VersaMark Pigment ink and embossed using WOW white embossing powder. Finally for embellishment I used some twine, added few sequins and also added glossy accents to the bubble.
Here is a close up:
Isn't that shark so fun with that smirky smile.... I love this set...
And my second card with my other fav set, this set is called "Cool Cat" from My Favorite Things...
Of-course I had to make a second card as I got so many new stamps in my happy mail :D
Again I did some water-coloring on Tim Holtz watercolor paper with my Kuretake Gansai tambi watercolors and splattered some diluted white ink once everything was dry...
The super cute kitty image is stamped on Crafters Companion ultra smooth white cardstock using Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with my copics; then I cut it out and added some white dots using my white gelly roll pen and adhered it on the water-colored panel using foam squares. I also added a strip of design paper to one side of the colored panel; everything is added to a white card base using foam squares.
Sentiment is stamped on a strip of black cardstock using VersaMark Pigment ink and embossed using WOW white embossing powder; adhered it using some foam squares as well, I also used little washi tape. And finally used some sequins to embellish.
Here is a close up for you:
