Happy Thursday, everyone! It's Lorraine (Created by Lorraine) and I'm here to share a fun card featuring Lawn Fawn's Year Two and Party Animal stamp sets. This card, especially the process I went through to make it, symbolizes patience and perseverance:) My card:
The story: I had the idea to make a parade of birthday turtles, so I stamped the four turtles and all of their accessories on to scraps of cardstock. Then I colored them with Copic markers. Then I went to get the dies for the stamps (I keep them at the back of my storage pockets) and found out that I did not have corresponding dies for either of the Lawn Fawn stamp sets. Now, fussy-cutting is quite a struggle for me...I'm bad at it and I just don't have the patience for it. But, I chose to keep it moving just like the little turtles and I fussy-cut everything, even the tiny party hats. Lastly, I blended in some ink for a sunny background, stamped the sentiment and adhered everything with glue and foam tape. Needless to say, it took forever, but I'm quite pleased with the outcome.
Hope you all have turned your own crafting mishaps into something you can be proud of, too! Thanks for taking a look.
