Lawn Fawn Happy Harvest

Hello, all! I hope you won't be too angry that I'm bringing you another Lawn Fawn card today! I promise that next time I'll use another company...but I had this idea and I couldn't let it go! You'll have to tell me what you think! And remember that you can get the items I've used on this card in the Butterfly Reflections, Inc Shop!

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons because I just love the colors! Deep oranges, yellows, and reds are just gorgeous!

I started with THIS Lawn Fawn stamp set. I stamped the scarecrow with THIS ink and heat set it so that I could do some water coloring with Distress Inks. I used THIS red, THIS blue, THIS orange, THIS yellow, and some Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs. While I had my Versafine black ink out I stamped my sentiment on to a strip of cardstock and distressed the paper with Antique Linen after cutting some banner ends. THESE dies are available for cutting out the scarecrow.

Next, I used THIS ink to stamp my pumpkins and sunflowers all over my watercolor card base. I sprinkled on some copper embossing powder (although it's not what I used, THIS powder is quite similar). I heat set the powder and did some more Distress Ink water coloring. I used the same orange and yellow as before (THIS and THIS). The brown is Gathered Twigs.

I popped up the scarecrow and the sentiment banner with some foam tape. You could definitely add some shimmer to this card, but I decided against it. I struggle with cards for guys and I think this is one I could send to some of my male friends!

Again, don't forget to visit the SHOP for the products I've used on this card! I'll see you again soon!
