Hello crafty friends! Gladys here today to share another card.
My family and I are planning to go to the farm this weekend depending on the weather. I'm looking forward to apple picking with my little ones and getting some pumpkins to decorate for Halloween. This is what inspired me to create this card combining a couple stamp set from Lawn Fawn, Thanks a Bushel and Stinkin' Cute.
To create my background I distressed it with tattered rose, abandoned coral, and festive berries. I die cut the Lawn Fawn Leafy Tree backdrop in the portrait style but converted it into landscape version. Sometimes you can make things work with a little bit of imagination. I distressed the tree trunk with vintage photo. From there I attached the backdrop to a rectangle frame then cut the excess from the backdrop. I used the hill die that comes with the backdrop as the tree leaves and distressed it with twisted citron and mowed lawn. I also die cut the grass using MFT dienamics. I colored the apples and the cute skunks with my copic markers.Once I got all my elements colored and cut it was time to put them all together and add foam tapes for dimension. For the sentiment I die cut the banner on black card stock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
Thank you so much for joining me today! Have a wonderful Friday!
~Gladys
