Hello, everyone! Today I bring you the biggest card ever made!!! Okay, not really. But the biggest card I've ever made! I had an idea in my head, and my card just got bigger and bigger! Here we go!
Can you tell I love this alpaca? I've had this idea for some time and I finally did it! I started by stamping out sooo many alpacas from the Winter Alpaca stamp set from Lawn Fawn using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with my Copics. While I had my ink out I stamped the sentiment from the set onto watercolor cardstock and die cut it using a Stitched Circle die. I used the coordinating Lawn Cuts to die cut each of my little alpacas.
Then I got to work on my background. I used three colors of Distress Ink ( Crushed Olive, Twisted Citron, and Cracked Pistachio ) and ink blended them onto a piece of 5 x 5 inch watercolor cardstock. I spritzed the whole thing with a mixture of water and Perfect Pearls to give it some shimmer and shine. I used an embossing folder from We R Memory Keepers, but you could use anything to add detail to the background. I put my sentiment circle in the middle with foam squares and adhered my alpacas with liquid glue.
I used the clear Spectrum Noir Shimmer Pen to add glitter to the circle in the center and to each of the scarves. I used fun foam that was a quarter inch thick to adhere the piece onto a 6 x 6 inch card base. I'm seriously in love and I'm considering doing this card in a bunch of different colors!
