Hi everyone, Gladys here! Today I have a non-holiday card to share. Don't you think November flew by so fast? I'm in denial that Christmas is right around the corner and as always I'm procrastinating to do my Christmas cards but it's okay because I'm one of those people that works better under pressure.
For my card I used an old and new stamp set from Avery Elle. I recently got the Swans stamp set with the cute couple riding a swan....let's say it all together now Awww! I inked my background with several distress inks: tattered rose, picked raspberry, shaded lilac, and blueprint sketch. I then cut my panel using MFT double stitched rectangle. I colored the flower canopy and the cute couple with copic markers. I adhered the couple towards the bottom of the panel using foam tape. Before adhering the frame I heat embossed the sentiment just below the couple. I glued the flower canopy onto the frame and trimmed off the excess. Then I added foam tape behind it to give it dimension. I also added white accents onto the flowers using my Gelly roll white pen. Finally I went to town and used Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen all over the swan and flowers. I couldn't get a good close up picture of it but this card is very sparkly!
That is all from me. I hope you enjoyed this card. Have a happy weekend everyone! I shall return next week with a Christmas card.
