Hello everyone! Gladys here to share one more card for you as my term with Butterfly Reflections Ink has ended. *sniff, sniff* I've had a wonderful time creating for Vanessa and working with all the awesome products she carries in her shop. Today on my card I'm featuring a new stamp set by Altenew called Happy Dreams.
I started this card by stamping the feather randomly using Versamark watermark ink pad to prepare it for embossing. I used gold embossing powder then melted it with a heat tool. Then using a blending tool I colored the background with a few distress inks: peacock feathers, cracked pistachio and salty ocean. To add more texture I also sprinkled some water and picked it up with a tissue.
Next I used the scallop circle to cut a gold shiny cardstock and then again on a piece of vellum. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I didn't want to cover the background too much so using the vellum worked out great and also fit the sentiment from the stamp set.
That is all for this sweet and simple card. I hope you enjoyed the cards I have shared as I've had so much fun creating them!! Thank you so much for stopping by and have an amazing day!
