Hello! Today I am bring you this card made with supplies by Neat and Tangled! I have two boys (and three girls!) and always find it hard to find a good stamp set to make card they will like. This set has a little something for all my kids but works perfectly for those of the male persuasion!
I started by stamping and coloring my images from the Yo Ho Ho Stamp set (link to dies - Yo Ho Ho Dies) with watercolor pencils on Ranger Watercolor paper and cut them out. For the background, I repeat stamped the map image and inked it with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I then colored the images on the maps and applied water drops to the entire background. This gave the look of an old, weathered treasure map and I just love it! Try Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink for a similar but even cooler effect!
I used the Making Waves Die and tucked the little ships into it make them look like they are sailing the Seven Seas! This die was inked with Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China.
I attached the rest of the images using Foam Tape and Multi Matte Medium to the panel with the stamped maps, stamped the sentiment and added it to a card base.
Thanks for reading and checking out my card! For many more projects using products from Butterfly Reflections Ink, be sure to check out My Instagram and Blog!
