Hi there!
This is Tanya from Studio 5380 and I have a fun shaker card to share with you today. One thing I love about being a card maker is the ability to brighten the day of someone who has been feeling a little down. I try to keep a supply of "happy cards" on hand for just such occasions and I think this sweet card fits the bill perfectly...
This card went together pretty quickly and I'm thinking I may create a stash of these cuties!
I used Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and a Mini Ink Blending Tool to create my background. The background was then adhered to a black card base. I die cut the word hello from black card stock and covered it with Clear Wink of Stella to add some sparkle.
The shaker portion of this card was so fun and easy to make with the Die-namics Shaker Flower die set from My Favorite Things. This is my first card using the Shaker Pouches from MFT and I highly recommend them. They make creating a shaker card so much easier!
I used some pretty prints from the Doodlebug paper pads, Spring Things and Under The Sea to die cut the shaker flower. The yellow center is stamped with a sentiment from the Love Letters stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
My shaker flower is filled with some beautiful Pink Lemonade Sequins by Neat & Tangled. I also added a few to my card base with a bit of Ranger Multi Medium Matte.
I'm hoping this card will bring a little happiness to someone special!
Thank you so much for dropping by today and I hope you have a wonderful day.
Such a SUPER sweet card!!
