Hi friends! Guess what? I'm back...WITH FLOWERS - utterly shocking eh?
I saw THIS card by Kay recently and had saved it to use in the future. I had this large piece of water color smooshed distress ink paper just sitting on my desk so I set to work putting it to use! I splattered on some various paints watered down, all from Hobby Lobby (black, white, gold). I then taped down the MFT Circle Burst Stencil off center and applied various oxide inks: worn lipstick, fired brick & abandoned coral, but I couldn't stop there! I sponged on some mother of pearl Nuvo Mousse (which really muted all those pretty colors I had added - HA)!
I then cut down the large panel to this small one and embossed a couple scribble flowers and colored using Zig Clean Color Brushes. Once dry, I splattered on more watered down white paint. I also already had these Layered Leaves - looks like 3 layers glued together - and adhered everything to the main panel.
I stamped and embossed the sentiment and then couldn't waste any of that gorgeous water color paper, so I used MFT's Stitched Scalloped Edges to cut an additional piece and added to the inside of the card (see above); love how it ties it all together.
Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a great week!
Hugs!
