It's Jenny here with you again, and this time I have some gorgeous sparkling goodness for you to feast your eyes upon. Honestly I wish you could see this card in real life - when it catches the light, the shine and sparkle almost puts your eye out! :D It was also therefore really hard to photograph...
I started with a panel made from Burnished Rose Craft Perfect Mirror Card by Tonic. I was going for all out bling on this card, so why not start with mirror cardstock? I adhered the hearts stencil from the gorgeous Fall Showers stencil set by Honeybee Stamps to the front using some painters tape. This is a set of three stencils, and also includes raindrops and snow / dots. You'll be seeing them again on future cards.
To create the hearts you see here, I applied Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone over the stencil using a palette knife. This is a clear medium with gorgeous, iridescent glitter, and sparkles with any color that hits it. It leaves lovely dimension and is quite subtle. You can still see the Rose cardstock through the hearts. Be sure to lift the stencil straight up when removing it, and rinse in water immediately, as the paste sets as hard as concrete when dry. I left the panel to dry overnight.
While it dried, I created my own glitter paper. I took a panel of 85lb white cardstock and applied double sided tape sheets over the top. I then sprinkled Nuvo Pure Sheen Glitter in Diamond all over, and burnished it with my finger and a bone folder to really stick it in. I used a swiffer clother to clean up the mess.
I diecut the Altenew Leafy Wreath die four times from white cardstock and then once from the glitter paper and adhered them together with spray adhesive. Once my panel was dry I adhered the wreath with glue dots.
To creat the sentiment, I die cut the Thanks die from My Favorite Things twice, once from white and once from black cardstock. I layered them to create a shadow and then adhered them to the base with foam tape.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts Thank You Messages which I heat embossed in Hero Arts White embossing powder on a scrap of black cardstock and popped up with foam tape. As a finishing touch I added some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins in 3mm, 4mm and 6mm because, you know, why not?
