Hello and welcome to November! I know we have another holiday before Christmas but tis the season to get working on my holiday cards!
This adorable set from My Favorite Things is an instant favorite for me! I have lots of dog friends, so I will be using this a lot! Here is how I put together this quick and easy card! I stamped all the dogs, ornaments and presents in the set and colored them all with Copic markers and then cut them out. For the background, I sponged on some Salty Ocean distress oxide, and then dripped some water on it, dried it and then added white paint splatters for snow. I used this MFT drifts and hills stencil and some ink to make some snow drifts. I then took some glitter paper and die cut it with the Lawn Fawn Leafy Tree Backdrop die. I popped it up and adhered it to the background using some scotch foam tape.
I then added my colored images using Scotch foam tape. To complete the card, I stamped the Happy Pawlidays sentiment in the corner using Versafine Black Onyx ink. I then went in and added some extra details with Nuvo White Blizzard glitter drops as accents to the hat and bow and also as some added sparkle to the whole card.
This card was actually pretty simple and could be mass produced and duplicated using just about any cute critter stamp and the fabulous scene die. If the dogs are not your thing check out some of these other ones that I recommend in the store!
Have fun and happy shopping!!!
