Hi there, crafters! It's Andrea back with you sharing a card featuring the oh-so-adorable critters from Neat & Tangled's Get Yeti set. Now, you know I love cute critters, but the sentiments in this set are awesome, too! Check it out.
Are you "yeti" for Christmas? I'm not! Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but Christmas seems to come faster each year! Anywho, about the card, I stamped all of the images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. The trees are from Neat & Tangled's Lumberjack Love set. After I cut out the images, I added (hold onto your seats!) some details with a white gel pen.
The sky was created by ink-blending a piece of Bristol Smooth paper with Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks. I used a stitched hill border die to create two hills. I adhered the back hill to my panel and tucked the mountains underneath. I glued the trees to the background before popping up the second hill with foam tape.
Using my MISTI, I stamped the main sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto the background before attaching it to a white card. I adhered my critters with more foam tape, adding two layers behind the yeti's head. For a little sparkle, I brushed on some Spectrum Noir Sparkle in Clear Overlay.
That's it for me today! Have a great week, and I'll see you here next Wednesday!
