Hi Everyone! Ali here for my first of two posts this week! Loving it here and thanks so much for all the kind & welcoming comments!
I have a delicate card for you today made using some My Favorite Things products from the huge range available at the Butterfly Reflections Ink Store. The combination of the soft background, abstract heart design and florals is perfect!!
I began this card by creating an Alcohol Ink background - using copics and blending solution (I used V95 and V95 & C5 - 'squiggled' them on acetate, dripped blending solution on and then layed on my glossy photo paper shiny side down, I repeated until I had the desired result). I then stamped flowers and leaves from the More Rustic Wildflowers and In Bloom stamp sets using Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet and Hickory Smoke Distress Inks. I fussy cut the flowers and leaves.
I then die cut the Abstract Heart die from silver foil cardstock leaving some of the triangle negative pieces in place. I stamped the "I simply adore you" from the More essential Sentiments stamp set onto a grey cardstock strip in versamark ink, white embossed it and heat set. I trimmed the sentiment into two sections.
To finish off, I trimmed the background piece to fit on a white card-base, used 3d foam to adhere the heart, flowers & leaves, and sentiment. Some Pretty Pink Posh droplets in the centre of the flowers completed the look. A delicate, pretty card - hope you enjoyed it and I will see you here again soon!
Ali xx
