Hummingbird Tags

Hi Crafty Friends!
It's Ali joining you again today. I have these bright and colourful tags to share!

Sometimes, you don't realise just how much you love a set until you start creating with it! I purchased this Pretty Pink Posh Hummingbird Thanks on a whim (I know I'm not alone here!! haha) and I am soooo glad I did - it is just so magical - if you love colour this set is for you! I also had to use my new distress Oxides - love, love, love!! I had to get the bundle because, well, there was just no doubt that I would want all the colours eventually anyway!!

I used the My Favorite Things Cross-stitch Tag die to make the tags - love this tag shape (and you have the added bonus of the separate cross-stitch centre if you love cross-stitch!).

I cut 3 x tags and toppers with the die and made 3 tags. I first stamped (in My Favorite things Extreme Black ink) a flower from the Altenew set Adore You on each tag and masked them off. I stamped the 3 Hummingbirds on white card and fussy cut them (I aim to get the dies very soon!!). I stamped I sponged the bottom of the tags with inks and coloured the birds and flowers with copics. Details for each of the colourings are below.

Blue/green/purple Tag
Copics:  BG13, BG15, BG49, BG05. BV02, BV04, BV08
Kitting Yarn tassle

Pink/Yellow Tag
Copics: RV11, RV13, RV17, V04, Y02, Y04 .
Knitting Yarn tassle
Grey/Plum Tag
 Copics: BV04, BV34, BV08, R59, R85
Knitting Yarn Tassle
When the colouring was done I stamped the sentiment along the bottom of the tag and splattered with some water drops.  I popped up the birds with some 3D foam and adhered to the tags. The colour combinations for this set are really endless as the amazing natural colours of hummingbirds are so varied and beautiful!!

Thanks for visiting and see you next time xx
