Good morning!
Alix here to share a birthday + love card with you by using Pretty Pink Posh products. I made this card thinking it is perfect for a friend who has his anniversary and wife's birthday on the same day. I combined Pretty Pink Posh January and March releases to make this card having double meanings.
To begin with my card making, I stamped my images from Pretty Pink Posh Buuny Friends stamp set and Birthday Friends stamp set onto Neenah Solar white 80lbs cardstock paper with Memento ink in Tuxedo Black, then colored them with my copic markers.I used coordinating dies to cut them out and set aside.
To create the background panel, I used a flat brush created some Not So perfect lines onto Tim Holtz distress watercolor paper using Gansai Tambi watercolor paint in #32 red mixed with #10 white, then splatter the same paint over the upper part of the paper. Once all paints were dried, I started to create the shaker window. I used Pretty Pink Posh Love Shaker die to cut the front opening on this background panel and also on a folded A2 card base.
Then I used the same die to cut 4 times from watercolor papers and colored with Gansai Tambi watercolor paint in Pale Aqua. I removed the script "Love" off the center of these die cuts and glued them separately using Multi Medium Matte. I traced a piece of acetate and attached it to the back of heart shape frame, then poured Pretty Pink Posh 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins and Iridescent Heart Confetti and enclosed them by gluing the top window. During this step, be sure to check a few times to make sure top opening fitting well over the shaker window we created.
Now that my card base and background were all ready. I assembled all images onto the top card. I Added couple of Pretty Pink Posh Jewel in Pink Plush to decorate those cute flowers. Adhered "Love" script die cut to the bottom of the card to finish this card.
Thank you for stopping by today. Bunnies are not only cute for Easter. They are lovely for all occasions. Remember to stretch using your stamps and use your creativity, you will find a lot potentials of yourself! See you on next Tuesday!
