Spring Floral Cards

Happy hump day, BRI friends!

It's Dana here and I have two cards to share with you today. I made both backgrounds very easily using washi tape and patterned paper. Here are what I came up with.

For my first card, I started by stamping cherry blossoms and leaves from Pretty Pink Posh Cherry Blossom Stamp Set onto cold pressed watercolor paper. I watercolored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and die cut with coordinating dies. I applied Nuvo Cristal Drops Ebony Black to each stamens for detail.

I then die cut sentiments using Pretty Pink Posh Hello Friends Script Die from black card stock. I also applied Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew to each words for glossy effect after I mounted them on the background.

For background, I adhered wide washi tape on A2 sized white card stock. I shopped it yesterday at my local store called Daiso in very good price, about one dollar. Isn't it awesome? :) I then ink blended top part with Peacock Feather Distress Ink using Mini Blending Tool. I splattered gold drawing ink using paint brush over the card stock. I mounted floral elements using foam adhesives and embellished Pretty Pink Posh Shamrock Jewels as shown in the picture.

For next card, I started by die cutting floral background with Altenew Doodled Lace Cover Die from watercolor paper. This is one of my favorite cover die from Altenew. I colored it with Altenew Artist Markers Set B and Set C. I used C001 and Y204. I then trimmed down patterned paper from Altenew Reflection Paper and mounted it on A2 sized white card base. I combined it again with floral cover using glue tape.

I die cut alphabets from watercolor paper two times using Altenew Caps Bold Alphabet Dies. I glued them each other and covered it with Nuvo Crystal Drops Bubblegum Blush. After dried it completely, I applied Nuvo drops again over it and I repeated this process 4 times. It took long time so much more than I expected, but I love how it turned out.

I adhered small circle foam adhesive behind each letters and mounted them as shown. To finish off, I embellished Studio Katia Iridescent Crystals here and there.
