Good morning, everyone! Amy Copeland here again with a love-themed card using some adorable new products from the Summer 2018 release by Lawn Fawn. I used the stamp set called You Are Sublime to stamp out all of the cute images using Lawn Fawn's Jet Black ink onto 110 lb smooth white card stock. I actually took my Copic markers and my pre-stamped card stock with me "on the road" to my husband's shop and colored them while he was billing out some work--it was a nice way to spend some time with him while also getting to do something crafty. :)
When I got home, I used the coordinating You Are Sublime dies to cut out all of my images--I just love how they look with the even white border all around the images. From there, it was a pretty simple process. I used my Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush pen to give all of my images some sparkle and shine. I cut a panel of Lawn Fawn Mermaid card stock with a stitched rectangle die (These and these are great options). I then cut a panel of Lawn Fawn's Paper Bag card stock with the same stitched rectangle die and used the Stitched Hillside Borders dies by Lawn Fawn to create some "sandy hills" for the bottom of my card. I arranged my images on the card until I was happy with the layout. I took a picture with my phone so I would remember where I put everything. :)
I used my MISTI to stamp my sentiment directly onto the card front using Lawn Fawn's Mermaid Ink, then glued everything down with Mono Multi Liquid Glue. I popped up my bottom sandy hillside with Scotch Foam Tape to give the card a little extra dimension.
The final touch was a layer of Glossy Accents on various elements of the card--I used it on all of the eyes, the windows and all the gray areas on the submarine, the hearts, the bubbles, some of the greenery, and on the goggles, flippers, belt, and tank/tubing on the scuba diver. I then mounted the panel on a top-folding A2 sized card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2). Thanks for joining me today--see you next Thursday. :)
