Hi there friends! Jacquie here today on the blog with a fresh, flowery summer card with a really cool geometric background. I really love the fresh designs from The Stamp Market, and they are featured in today's project.
I started off by stamping the cool Diamond background stamp from The Stamp Market using Versamark ink. I heat embossed it with Altenew crisp white embossing powder. I used Distress inks (Shaded Lilac, Broken China, Tumbled Glass) for the background and dropped a few water drops on it to add even more interest. The background was so pretty that I almost did not want to cover it up!
For the flowers, I stamped the beautiful (and very easy to line up) May Flowers from the Stamp Market and cut them out. I used several sets of Altenew inks, which makes layering so simple. I made a little arrangement and mounted it on my card.
I stamped the sentiment from Mini Messages by The Stamp Market on a white strip of card stock, and then also a greeting on the inside. I added an extra flower I had made to the inside of the card. Isn't it pretty? I like to decorate the inside too!
As a final touch, I added my favorite embellishment from Pretty Pink Posh - droplets!
That is it for today. Thanks for stopping by!
Peace,
Jacquie
