It is a Fab BOO lous day here in AZ!! Why? Let me tell you. It is under 100 degrees. It is under 90 degrees. It is under 80 degrees. AND!!! It's raining. Truly, I nearly cried when the temperatures changed. So this got me thinking all fall and Halloweeny thoughts. Thus this shaker card came to be.
So to make this card it was a bit lengthy, but you can do it! So I inked the background using Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks. I then die cut out square using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Square Stackable Dies. Taking the die that is smaller, I cut a frame out of the two. To make this step easier, use the Lawn Fawn Stitch Square Frame. Then I stamped these cute ghosts from the Fab-Boo-lous Friend stamp set by My Favorite Things with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. After coloring them with copics, I added detail with a White Gelly Roll pen and I fussy cut them out. I highly recommend getting the matching Fab-Boo-lous Friends coordinating dies. It makes this process soooooo much easier.
I put Scor Tape around the frame and adhered a piece of acetate to it. Next I put doubled up foam tape around the edges. I put the cute images and sequins face down on the acetate. Adhere the inked background to the frame. To finish it I adhered it to a card panel. I then stamped the sentiment and added it to the card.
Hope you have a great rest of your week! Enjoy the weather out there, I know I will!
