Hey friends!
Jess here! I'm back this week with a autumn card that's giving me all the fall feels. I love the way this card turned out - a perfect blend of sweet and rustic charm.
To get started with my card, I used my Mini MISTI to stamp out the truck and pumpkin images from Little Pickup by Honey Bee Stamps. I used black ink for this and stamped a couple of times to get a nice solid impression. Then, I went back with the sentiment stamps from the complimentary set 'Sending You Sentiments,' also from Honey Bee Stamps. I love that you can use this set to build your own custom sentiments. I went with 'sending you autumn wishes and loads of kisses.' Cute!
I colored up my images using Copic markers and I also used a Copic marker to add a bit of shadow under the truck so it didn't look like it was floating on the panel. Then, I grabbed my Clarity Stencil brushes and lightly dusted on some Antique Linen Distress Ink. At the bottom, I brushed on Gathered Twigs to help make it look like there was a sky and ground on my card front.
I grabbed a gorgeous piece of patterned paper from my stash to use as background. I absolutely love this paper - I've been holding on to it for years, literally! I tied a piece of jute twine around the top of my card and then added some brown sequins. I filled in the sequins with Glossy Accents - I like how this gives another option for some added interest on your card.
Do you love fall? Let me know what your favorite fall activity is!
Hugs and love to you all,
