Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Danielle here up on the BRI blog with a fun card featuring Lawn Fawn Lucky Charm stamp and die set. Spring is definitely in the air and I wanted to make a bright and cheerful card for you!
I started off using Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames die and some Lawn Fawn Sparkle Holiday Cardstock. This pack has a beautiful emerald green glitter cardstock that was perfect for spring. Once cut, I adhered to my card base. For my second layer I used gold mirror cardstock and the new Avery Elle Scalloped Mat die and ran through my die cutting machine. This background die is so versatile and elegant! I also used this same die and ran through my machine using plain white cardstock which I adhered on top of my mirrored panel using foam adhesive. It cuts out a circle in the center which I used for my main focal point. I ink blended the left over circle using Distress Ink Oxides in Lucky Clover, Evergreen Bough, and Shabby Shutters. Once my ink blending was done, I covered the circle using Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone. This adds such a sparkle and creates a whole new look!
I stamped the clover images from Lawn Fawn Lucky Charm stamp set using Gina K Amalgam Jet Black ink pad. This ink leaves crisp lines and can be used with copics without smearing. I colored using various copic markers in colors YG07, YG11 and G09. I added some sparkle onto my clovers using Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen Clear Overlay for extra detail. Once I ran through my die cutting machine I adhered my pieces to my center ink blended panel in random order using foam adhesive. For my sentiment I used Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment Banners die and ran through my die cutting machine on white cardstock. This die is great because it comes with 3 different sizes and widths to fit a variety of sentiments. I stamped using Versamark embossing ink and heat set using Lawn Fawn Gold embossing powder and trimmed down so I would have enough room to add an extra clover on one side. I adhered to my top panel using foam adhesive. I decided to add a little extra bling on the stitched impressions using Pretty Pink Posh Shamrock Jewels to emphasize the green of the clovers.
I hope you enjoyed this card and it will bring you some luck! Make sure you stop by the shop to pick up these amazing products and while you're there be sure to check out all the new products that are constantly being added everyday!! Have a wonderful rest of your week and I'll see you next Tuesday! xoxoxo
