Hey there, BRI friends, Kathy here! Many years ago, pre-stamping, my hobby was sewing. My friend and I wanted to do something and we decided to take sewing classes at a local shop. It was great fun and I did make a few outfits that I wasn't ashamed to wear in public! I also remember sewing my cousin outfits for her Cabbage Patch doll (now you know how long ago it was when I did that hobby!) Now, I just enjoy stamping sewing-themed projects :)
For my card, I cut a blush cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Quilted Backdrop die and adhered to the card base. I then cut cardstock and shiny gold paper using the Neat & Tangled Hoop dies (Paper Smooches also has fun Embroidery Hoop Dies) and blended Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink to the center. All the darling sewing images and sentiments are from Lawn Fawn's Sewn With Love stamp set; the word die is included with the coordinating Sewn With Love dies.
Hope you'll follow us via email/blog, Facebook and/or Instagram so you won't miss any projects the design team shares...not to mention, you'll be among the first to hear about deals and specials!
This is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful sewing theme card. I don't sew myself much but I did do a bit of embroidery in my day!
