Happy Tuesday fellow crafters! Danielle here on the BRI Blog with a fun new card featuring the new Pretty Pink Posh Spring Wreath and it definitely has me feeling that spring is in the air!!
I wanted to keep this card simple and vibrant, so to have the main focus on the beautiful wreath! I started off with a white card base, followed by a vibrant pink piece of card stock that adhered directly onto my card base using altenew permanent tape adhesive. I stamped the Spring Wreath using Gina K amalgam premium black ink on water color paper. I love this ink because it leaves a crisp, solid impression and can be used with many different mediums. I colored the dainty floral wreath using Zig Kuretake markers. With just a little water these markers give you the watercolor paint effect. Using the coordinating spring wreath die, I ran it through my die cutting machine. I also used the same coordinating die and ran it through again with the pink cardstock that I used for my previous layer. I wanted the left over middle piece to use for my sentiment.
Before I stamp my sentiment using Versamark Embossing ink, I alway use an embossing powder applicator and sweep the entire piece where I plan to heat emboss. This helps the embossing powder only stick to the ink and no where else on your cardstock. I used Lawn Fawn white embossing powder and heat embossed the sentiment. I wanted to add a little shadow underneath where I would be placing my wreath, so I ink blended using Distress Ink Oxide in Picked Raspberry on plain white cardstock. I adhered my wreath using foam adhesive and then my sentiment that fit perfectly because its the left over piece directly in the middle using permanent tape adhesive. I added some Pretty Pink Posh Watermelon Jewels for extra glitz.
I love the CAS feel of this card and the pop of color! Even though it's always spring and summer down here in Florida I still miss the spring feel from up north! Make sure you stop by the shop to pick up this beautiful set and I'll see you next Tuesday! Have a great day! xoxoxo
This is so pretty Danielle!
