Hello everyone and happy Friday! It's Ashley today with a birthday card using some super cute stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird! It was my first time using products from Hello Bluebird, and let me just say - I am in LOVE! Look how sweet these little cows are!
I started by blending some Distress Oxide Inks in Spun Sugar and Tattered Rose onto a piece of white cardstock, then splattered it with water and watered down acrylic paint in white and gold. I blasted it with my heat gun so I didn't have to wait for it to dry, then used the largest rectangle in the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangles to cut out the panel. I cut the Hello Bluebird Make a Wish die twice from white cardstock and once from metallic gold cardstock and glued them together with the Zig 2-Way Glue Pen - be careful not to lose the dot! :)
I stamped all the cows from the Hello Bluebird Farmyard Little Bits stamp set onto some bristol smooth paper with black hybrid ink. I then colored them using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I decided to try blending them with the blender pen instead of a water brush - this was so simple and will make traveling with these markers even easier! I used the matching Farmyard Little Bits dies to cut out my colored images. I also decided to cut a few out of foam to add some dimension using Davina's method to help prevent smooshing in the mail. After deciding how to arrange the cows and sentiments and attaching everything, I added a few gems in Pink Blush from Pretty Pink Posh for a bit of extra shine and mounted my panel onto Lawn Fawn Apricot cardstock.
Thanks so much for checking out my card! Have a fabulous weekend everyone!!
