Hi guys, Amy Copeland here with a very quick, clean-and-simple card featuring some awesome products by The Stamp Market. Be sure to visit my Instagram (@amypeach1978) for other inspiring card ideas. This card literally took me 15 minutes from beginning to end (well, technically it took 20, but 5 minutes of that time were spent separating my two bar magnets for my MISTI because they accidentally stuck together when I was trying to stamp the sentiment on my card base--man, those suckers are powerful!) :)
I started by using a Stitched Rectangle die to cut a piece of The Stamp Market's Color Crush Solids patterned paper. Then I actually trimmed the striped patterned piece off of the front "cardboard" piece of packaging from the Color Crush Patterns paper pack. I ran that piece through with the Stitched Rectangle die with my die cutter to give it the fun stitching detail on the top and bottom edges.
I used the Botanical Beauty die to cut the large leafy element out of another piece from the Color Crush Solids paper pack.
I stamped my sentiments (both from the AWESOME Have a Nice Day! stamp set) with Sage Leaf ink by Lawn Fawn, the long one directly onto the blue card panel, and the smaller one right-aligned onto a white cardstock circle that was die cut with a Stitched Circle die.
I adhered the patterned paper and leafy elements with liquid glue (I like using liquid glue for the little extra wiggle room it gives you) and popped the circle sentiment up with foam tape. I played around with gems and sequins for a little extra embellishment, but decided I liked it better really clean-and-simple and letting the design elements take center-stage.
I mounted my card front onto an A2-sized (4 1/4 x 5 1/2") white, top-folding card base using liquid glue. I hope you enjoyed this card today and that it inspires you to create some clean-and-simple designs of your own.
