Hey everyone, it's Julianne bringing you some Father's Day cards using the Waffle Flower Crafts Be Him Stamp Set. I love the animals that are in this stamp set, specially the elephant, so I thought it would be perfect for creating my dad a Father's Day card.
I started out by stamping all the images in this stamp set with Black VersaFine Ink, and using Clear Embossing Powder to heat emboss them all. After coloring in all the images with copic markers I die cut them out with their coordinating dies. Next I started working on my background, I used a variety of banner dies to cut different shades of blue and green cardstock; Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment Banners and Lawn Fawn Extra Sentiment Banners. For the background I cut some grey cardstock down to an A2 size card and started adhering the different colors of banners with some liquid adhesive.
Once the banners were all adhered I started working on my sentiments, I used the MFT All About Dad Stamp Set as well as the Be Him Sentiments. The Be Him stamp set has some super cute accessories to add to your critters, for my dad I really loved the top hat with my elephant. My dad growing up would always call him Joe Cool and I thought the elephant with the top hat made him look cool.
I adhered the images with their accessories with liquid glue as well and added foam tape to the back of my sentiments before adhering them to my card. To finish things off I added a few clear sequins.
Thank you all so much for stopping by I can't wait to see what you all create!
