Good Morning Crafty Friends, Julianne here bringing you some friendship cards featuring some Honey Bee Stamps products. When these flowers first came out I fell in love with them, they came out for Mother's Day but wanted to show how to combine them to make something else.
I started out by stamping the Honey Bee Mother's Day Stamp Set using my MISTI. I absolutely love this floral stamp set, I really think you could end up using it to make a variety of different cards. I ended up stamping the image a total of 8 times because I knew I wanted the image on my cards twice. I've listed the copic colors I used in order to color in the flowers:
RV66, RV19, R89, YR23, YR24, YR27, YG91, YG93, YG95, YG97
I used the Honey Bee Mother's Day Coordinating Dies to cut all my floral images out. Since I ended up putting them on a white background I could have just stamped onto my cardbase because you can't really tell, but maybe next time 😊
Using cardstock from Gina K and the Waffle Flower A2 size dies I was able to cut down my cardstock to different sizes to give the background a pop of color. I ended up using the same colors of cardstock to did cut the sentiment using the Honey Bee Cherish Die. I started putting my card together from there, adhering everything with liquid adhesive glue. For my sentiment I used the Honey Bee Cherish Stamp Set, I absolutely love Honey Bee sentiments stamp sets, they always come with so many sentiments to be able to use in so many different ways.To finish off each card I scattered some gold & clear sequins all over.
I loved the mood board for this month so decided to make an additional card to share with you all. The process for creating the card was the same but wanted to share what colors I used in case you would like to re-create it.
BG05, BG07, BG09, YR23, YR24, YR27, G00, G02, G19
For my card base I did decide to add some texture so I used the Honey Bee Radiant Circle Die; I really like that little bit of extra detail it gave.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see my cards, I hope you enjoyed them. I can't wait to see what you all create.
