Hello everyone and happy August! It's Ashley today with a card featuring the cutest little bunny!
Look how adorable he is with his cookie! I started by stamping the pile of cookies from Evelin T. Designs Coffee Loving Critters in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink on my card and a piece of masking paper. I cut out my mask and covered the cookies before stamping the other three images onto my card with the Jet Black ink. I created masks for those images and covered them as well so I could ink blend my background.
I used Post It tape to mask off the bottom part of my card with a straight line. I grabbed my blender brushes to keep the colors soft and blended Lawn Fawn inks in Minty Fresh, Mermaid, and Deep Sea around my images. When my blending looked how I wanted, I removed the masks and colored my images with Copic markers.
I trimmed an eighth of an inch off of each side and added some stitching using the second biggest die in the Lawn Fawn Just Stitching Double Rectangles set. I love that this set allows me to add stitching without also cutting the cardstock! I stamped my sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black and embossed with clear. I colored the heart with R01 for a bit of extra color and added white gel pen accents to my coloring. I finished with a bit of bling from Pretty Pink Posh jewels in Aquamarine and attached the finished piece to a card base in Lawn Fawn Fog.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see my card! Have a wonderful day!
