Hello to all you fabulous crafters, it's Candice here with you this Friday and I hope you are having a great day! Excited to be sharing with you on Friday's with Butterfly Reflections, Ink!
Okay, I don't know about your home, but our home is a superhero home! So of course I had to use the adorable new Sunny Studio Super Duper stamps. I have been loving Davina's, on IG she's popsiclesticks, designs with movies and shows and decided to take my try at it!
I went with Aquaman, I love that I could create an underwater scene with him!

I went with Aquaman, I love that I could create an underwater scene with him!
For my underwater superhero scene I used Sunny Studio products:
- Super Duper stamp set
- Super Duper coordinating dies
- Best Fishes stamp set
- Best Fishes coordinating dies
- Cityscape border die
- Woodland borders die (sand)
To start my slimline card, I create an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base and with the left over piece I trimmed to use on the front. You can use size 9A envelopes to fit this card perfectly in.
I created the background first by blending salty ocean, mowed lawn, shabby shutters & scattered straw using the amazing Picket Fence blender brushes. I then made the sand by die cutting using the woodland borders, inked with tea dye & antique linen and splattered brown and white paint with a paintbrush.
While I let that dry, I stamped all the images from super duper & best fishes using memento black ink. Next, I colored them with copic markers and then cut them out with the best fishes coordinating dies & super duper coordinating dies. I took aquaman and trimmed off the cape (cause we all know what happens to the ones that wear capes 😉)
To put the card together, I die cut Atlantis from vellum and added some white accents with a pen. I ended up not liking it, but what can you do, we have all been there!
I took sentiments from each stamp set and combined to create this cute title! I trimmed some black cardstock to create the banners and heat embossed in white. For the final touches, I added clear nuvo drops which pick up the color under them beautifully!
I hope you get inspiration from crafty friends and try your hand at a new theme or style as I did with Davina's!
Thank you for visiting!
Candice
