Hi Everyone! It's Jane again. I'm here to share with you a card I created for Halloween. As the title of this post suggests, this card features an adorable skunk from Lawn Fawn Stinkin' Cute stamp set. This cute little guy is having a blast playing in the pumpkin patch. I love combining old and new sets to create a scene!
To start with I took a piece of Strathmore Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended the following Catherine Pooler inks from top to bottom (Fiesta Blue, Mardi Gras, Lime Rickey ). Then I added distress oxide ink in black soot to the edges. Using Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust, I splatted the background. Then I added black gouche to the liquid stardust and splattered it across the background. The panel was then cut using the largest of the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables die and the Let's Toast Pull Tab Add-On.
Using another piece of inked Bristol smooth cardstock, I cut the grass using the Grassy Border die and the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables die and adhered it to the card base using foam squares.
Images from So Thankful, Spooky Village, Spooktacular and Stinkin' Cute stamped using Memento Tuxedo black ink on Neenah Solar white cardstock. The images were colored with Copic markers and white gel pen used for accents. All the images were cut using coordinating dies and mounted using foam squares and Zig 2-way glue fine tip glue pen. Using the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Costume Party stamp set, I used Versamark ink on black card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Spectrum Noir clear overlay glitter pen used on the witches hat for sparkle.
I hope you enjoyed this card. Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing with you again next week! Have a lovely day!
