Hi Everyone! I'm here with another fall card to share with you. This slimline card measures 3.5 inches by 8.5 inches and was inspired by the colors on the BRI mood board for October. I hope you all play along this month! There will be two giveaways this month so be sure to upload your creations!
Using a large piece of Bristol cardstock, I ink blended the following distress oxide colors (top to bottom): rusty hinge, victorian velvet, spun sugar, peeled paint and evergreen bough. Then I splatted some water and corresponding inks on the background. Then using the second largest rectangle die from the stitched rectangle frames die, I cut the cardstock. You have to cut the cardstock very carefully and make sure not to cut sooner than you need (I usually keep the edge of the paper outside my cutting plate to achieve this type of cut).

Then using the simple grassy hillsides die, I cut the bottom half of the cardstock and layered it on itself. On a separate piece of Neenah 110lb cardstock, I stamped images from pick of the patch, jump for joy and holiday party animal. The images were colored using copic markers and cut using the coordinating dies. I also used a 0.3mm black copic marker and added eyelashes to one of the raccoons. Then, using a craft knife, I cut one of the raccoon's arms so he can hold the pumpkin. The little curly elements are from the fairy friends stamp set. Images were stamped on a separate piece of cardstock using VersaFine black ink and clear heat embossed and then cut using the coordinating dies. I mounted the images to the background using liquid glue. On the top, I added a single leaf and the stamped a heart from little fireflies set. Pretty pink posh red heart confetti added for additional details.
Hope you enjoyed this card! I hope you all play along with the October mood board. Can't wait to see what you create! Have a lovely day!
