Okay, I have a confession to make, I bought almost the whole new release from Hello Bluebird from the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store and have been obsessed with using all of them for Christmas cards before the season is done.
The fabulous products I used for my card from Butterfly Reflections, Ink:
- Hello Bluebird O Christmas Tree stamps & coordinating dies
- Hello Bluebird Snow Play stamps & coordinating dies
- Hello Bluebird Christmas Is Coming stamps
- Sunny Studio Woodland Borders dies
- oxide inks: ripe persimmon, candied apple, fired brick & black soot
- Lawn Fawn jet black ink
- Versafine Onyx black ink
- copics
I began my card by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base which is the perfect size for a standard or size 9A envelope.
For the background, I first heat embossed the repeated merry & bright's from the Christmas Is Coming and Snow Play stamp sets in white. I then inked over them with oxide inks in ripe persimmon, candied apple, fired brick & black soot.
I die cut a bunch of snowhills, pop dotting some for dimension and stamping the sentiment along the bottom with versafine black ink.
Next, I stamped all the adorable images from the O Christmas Tree and Snow Play stamp sets, colored with copic markers, and used the coordinating dies listed above to cut them out.
To finish the card, I colored in some of the beads and accessories with a gold pen.
I really hope that you are enjoying the Christmas card making this year and truly loving the holiday season!
Remember, that there are still 1000's of products on sale for 40-60% off in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink store and you can see them here!
Thank you again for visiting!
