Hello! This is Tiffany and today I have two cards to share with you. I used several items from the Butterfly Reflections, Ink online store to create these cards. I recently purchased the Mama Elephant Circular Grid Die and I wanted to show how versatile it could be. When using this die, you can use it as is (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) with stitched borders or cut it down like I did for both cards. For the larger A2 sized card I trimmed off the stitched border and then used an edge distressing tool on the edges, I wanted to have a patterned paper border on my card. For the square card I trimmed the die cut piece down to 3 7/8 x 3 7/8, the square card measures at 4 1/8 x 4 1/8. For both cards I ink blended the backgrounds using two shades of blue, I then splattered white and silver paint to create a snowy effect. I stamped images from Mama Elephant's Little Snowman Agenda in Memento Gray Flannel ink, I wanted the snowmen to have a dark outline but not as dark as a black outline. Once the images were cut out, I colored them with Copic markers and added Star Dust Stickles to the snowmen. On the A2 sized card I used sentiments from Mama Elephant's Holiday Messages and patterned paper from American Craft's Cozy & Bright 6 x 6 paper pad. On the square card I used sentiments from Mama Elephant's Mini Merry Messages and patterned paper from Echo Park's Christmas Gingham 6 x 6 paper pad. Sentiments on both cards were heat embossed using Lawn Fawn's White Embossing Powder. I used Tombo liquid glue and foam squares to assemble both cards. I hope you've enjoyed these cards, I'll see you again next week!
