Hi crafty friends, Happy 2020!! I'm so excited to be sharing my first blog post for Butterfly Reflections Ink with you!
Today, I'm sharing this adorable love card using all Lawn Fawn.
I absolutely adore these sweet puffins from the Stud Pufin Stamp Set!
I began by stamping my images on Bristol smooth cardstock with black Momento ink. I used the following sets: Christmas Dreams (fish with bow), Butterfly Kisses (clouds and grass), and of course Stud Puffin.
I colored all of the stamped images with Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies.
Next, I started on my background. I used The Large Stitched Rectangle Dies and cut the largest rectangle, then I used Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks to create my background. Then, I flicked some clean water on my inked panel to create some interest and finished it off by randomly stamping the heart from Stud Puffin in the same Distress Oxide inks.
I used the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders to create a grassy background for the puffins. I used Twisted Citron Distress Oxide to ink my grassy hill. Then, I ink blended the edges with Mowed Lawn and splattered some watered down Mowed Lawn onto the panel to give it a more realistic grassy look.
Next, using the Happy Mail Lawn Cuts, I die cut the mailbox and assembled. I also die cut the heart the puffin is holding with this.

I attached my inked panel to an A2 card base with this adhesive. Next, I attached the grassy hill to the bottom of my card. I tucked the mailbox under the grass, and started gluing down my stamped images. I used 3D foam squares to attach the puffins for some dimension.
Finally, I finished off my card by stamping the "sending love" sentiment in black ink. I heat embossed the "to my stud puffin" sentiment in white embossing powder directly onto the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! See you soon!
XO,
Tammy
