Hello there! It's Silvia here with you today sharing a new card made using a bunch of Hello Bluebird products.
I'm so in love with this month's Butterfly Reflections Ink mood board and its color combination (pale blue, iced lavender, frosted pink and winter peach) and so I decided to play along with it this time.
I started making my card die cutting a 5 1/2"x 4 1/4" stitched rectangle from white cardstock and I colored it ink blending dried marigold, spun sugar and shaded lilac Distress Oxide inks. I splattered with water and some pure platinum Nuvo mousse loosened with a drop of water.
I stamped the two little penguins from "First Snow" stamp set, a bunch of trees from "Yeti or Not" stamp set and the mailbox and some letters from "Merry Mice" stamp set (all from Hello Bluebird) with Memento black ink, I colored them with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and I cut them out.
To build up my scene I also die cut two hill borders using Lawn Fawn "Stitched Hillside Borders" dies from white cardstock and I ink blended some tumbled glass Distress Oxide ink on top.
For the sentiment I used the "Warm Wishes" Words die from Hello Bluebird (I die cut two pieces and I glued them together for some extra thickness), I added just a bit of my background Distress Oxide colors on it, I covered it with moonstone Nuvo glitter paste and I glued it in the middle of my card.
Here are some close-ups.
You know, I'm not so good with pastel colors, but I really love how this card turned out and I hope you'll like it too.
Thank you so much for sharing your time with me today and have a fabulous day.
Hugs, Silvia.
sooo stinkin' CUTE.
