Hello crafty friends! Silvia's here today with a card inspired by my childhood memories.
I love taking long walk in the open air on Spring and I really miss them a lot this year, so I decided to create this happy and joyful scene using a bunch of Hello Bluebird stuff.
I started die cutting a white stitched rectangle and all the pieces to build up my scene with the "Skating pond scene" and the "Grassy knoll" dies and I ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks ( I used shabby shutters and evergreen bough for tree leaves, vintage photo and ground espresso for tree trunks, twisted citron and mowed lawn for the grass and salty ocean and peacock feathers for the river).
I then stamped images from the "Seaside Girls" and "Garden Friends" stamp sets, I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them out (if you prefer you can usee coordinating dies that you can find here and here).
I attached all my pieces together using a mix of liquid glue and foam squares and I added a sentiment from the "Farmyard Little Bits" stamp set and I used "Boysenberry Blast" hybrid ink by LDRS Creative to stamp it out.
I really love how this card turned out and I hope you'll enjoy it the same.
Thank you so much for passing by today and stay safe and healthy.
Big hugs, Silvia.
