Howdy! Comin at ya from sunny AZ. May is usually a rollercoaster month weather wise. We saw 108 and sadly, now that June is here, it is our new norm. Ow. Weather. It is a constant battle for me.
Anywho, I've been on a creative kick lately and I made this super cute birthday card. See!
It just makes me happy. Here is how I made this card.
I started out by stamping the images from Mama Elephant's Stackable Friends stamp set. I colored them with copic markers and then cut them out using the coordinating dies. I cut the tag and scalloped frame and set them aside. Using the Wild Honey, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Inks, I blended the background. I flicked it with water and using a paper towel picked up the water. I adhered it to the scalloped frame and then adhered that to the card. I adhered the lion and party hat with foam adhesive. Then, using my jewel picker I positioned the sequins on the card and used my Glue Tube from Lawn Fawn to glue them down. After stamping the sentiment onto the tag, I adhered it to the card to finish it off.
Hope you enjoy your day and I'll catch y'all next time!
