Hi everyone! So happy to be sharing another fun slimline card using the June mood board for inspiration! All the stamps and dies I used to create this card can be found at Butterfly Reflections Ink!
To start, I cut a piece of Bristol smooth card stock using the small slimline dies by Lawn Fawn. Then, I masked and ink blended a sky and the background mountains using the following distress oxide inks: shaded lilac, milled lavender and white pigment ink (for the sky) and a mix of peacock feathers and lucky clover (for the background mountains). Lawn Fawn cloudy stencil used for the white clouds and I created my own stencil using the stitched mountain die for the mountains.
Using brown cardstock, a road was cut using the hillside dies. The slider was cut down the middle using the large slimline dies and pieced together using foam tape and slider elements. I also cut some mountains from the stitched mountain die and inked the bottom using lucky clover ink.
Images are from the following sets: car critters, butterfly kisses (butterflies), mom and me (owl), dad and me (moose), winter skies (small tree), the large tree is from Merry Mice set.
Images were all stamped using hero arts intense black ink on Neenah 110lb cardstock and colored using copic markers. Acetate was stamped with black StazOn ink and stamped with the "recalculating" from the car critters set.
I used a combination of liquid glue and foam tape/squares to adhere the images to the card front.
The sentiment from the car critters stamp set was masked and stamped using Versafine Clair ink in nocturne. Woodgrain backdrop stamp was inked with walnut stain ink and stamped on brown cardstock. Letters for "Lost" were cut using Quinn's ABC die and mounted to the card using foam squares. Lastly, the panel was adhered to a white background using the large slimline die and then to a 3.5 inch by 8.5 inch white card base.
