Hello, Everybody!
It's Kelly Martin here, and thanks so much for stopping by the blog today to check out my card!
Several days ago, I sat down and had a fun little stamping party, using some of the products from Pinkfresh Studio's most recent release. One of those products is the Modern Layered Floral Stamp Set and coordinating die set.
I stamped out 4 different sets of this floral (using Sweet Sixteen, Flirty Fuchsia, Seafoam, and Spruce inks from Catherine Pooler) and then used the coordinating die to cut out the bouquets and then glued the bouquets down to a card. I had LOTS of the imag hanging off the edge, so I just used my scissors to cut off the excess. You can see the finished card here.
So the big question was - What am I supposed to do with all these extra bits and pieces that I trimmed off this card? Well here's the answer:
I arranged all the cut off pieces from that first card around the outer edge of a cut and scored 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base and then just followed the same process of gluing down those images using liquid adhesive.
I filled in any white spaces with smaller images and then finished off the card by stamping a sentiment from the Simply Sentiments - Hello Stamp Set in the middle of the card with black ink.
When I can do minimal stamping and still get multiple cards, I am a happy camper! I love that this set is large enough to carry off being a focal image on a card, but small enough to be used as a border image as well!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and spending a few minutes with me!
Happy Crafting!
Kelly
