Hey there, crafty friends!
It's Kelly Martin here, and I'm glad to be here on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog today with this card using the newest release from Heffy Doodle!
I began by stamping several images from the Hot Diggity Dog stamp set and coloring them with copic markers. I used the matching die set to cut the images out and then set them aside.
Using a die from the Skinny Imperial Rectangle Frame die set, I cut a frame from a dark blue piece of cardstock, and then inked up the negative piece that was also cut from that die. I used a few different shades of green Distress Oxide inks (Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn) and a few different shades of blue Distress Oxide inks (Tumbled Glass and Broken China) to create the sky and grass.
After I glued both the frame and the scene piece onto a cut and scored 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base, I arranged all my images into a scene and then glued them down with liquid adhesive.
To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set, matted it on to a piece of colored cardstock and then glued it down to the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a great day!
