Hey everyone, it's Julianne here and I'm back today sharing how I created this slimline birthday card featuring a bunch of products from My Favorite Things. I can't get enough of these adorable cake and cupcake images from the All the Cupcakes stamp set as well as the Birthdays Take the Cake stamp set. These stamp sets were released during different releases but I thought they matched perfectly together.
I started out by using the Big Birthday Wishes Die-namics set to die cut my background panel before I started working on creating my scene. I did my die cutting before I started creating my scene that way I knew how much room I had to play with in order to stamp all the cupcakes, cakes and my sentiment that I wanted to use.
For all of my stamping today I used memento tuxedo black ink and did my stamping on Xpress It Blending cardstock so that I could do some copic coloring. Since I did create a scene today for my card, the first step was to decide which images I wanted in the front verse in the background. I stamped the first couple images that I knew I wanted in the front of my cupcake scene and then masked them off before stamping the rest of my images. When it comes to masking that is insuring that the images you stamp first will look as though they are in front of anything else that you stamp.

I want to thank you all for stopping by and spending sometime with me, I hope you enjoyed my card. Make sure to check out the rest of the design team and all their amazing creations for even more inspiration. Happy Crafting!
