Hello there!
Samantha here today, and I'm happy to share a fun, summery card!
Because it's still hotter than hades here in South Carolina, and we're still longing for some beach days! ha!
I used a combination of Avery Elle stamps and Lawn Fawn dies for this card!
Let's check it out, shall we?
eeeep!
So cute!
As SOOOOON as I saw the Suns Out stamp set, I could NOT stop laughing! I knew it had to be mine! lol! I also stamped the speech bubble from Speech Bubbles!
I fussy cut my images out, but you could use the coordinating dies to die cut yours out speedy Q!
I added some Icicle Stickles to the unicorn's horn...because....glitter!
So then you know I had to add some Glossy Accents to the sunglasses for some shine!
My images were colored with Zig Clean Clear Real Brush Markers, and the background is where it gets fun (and inky!)!!
I used Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire and Mermaid Lagoon to create the watercolored background!
I smooshed the ink onto some plastic packaging, spritzed it with water, and then pressed it to the background of my white cardstock, in both colors!
Once it was dry, I used the same colors and did just a smidge of ink blending on top, in the coordinating colors!
I finished off by die cutting some waves with Lawn Fawn's Sandy Beach Accent Dies!
The sentiment is from Peek-a-Boo Summer Pals!
I finished the card by adding some 'bubbles' with Studio Katia's Clear Round Drops Mix 2!
Be sure to check out all the goodies on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog!
